I LOVE THIS DESSERT SOOO MUCH, EVERYTIME I SEE IT ,I DRULE. I'VE NEVER USED LIQOURS BEFORE, IT DOESN'T NEED IT ANYWAY. YA'LL, IF BY CHANCE THERE IS ANY LEFT OVER, MAKE PANCAKES. I ADDED SOME NUTS AND THEY WERE AWESOME. THANKS PAULA.

I fixed this for my family and they all could not move after eating it, but then they could not stop eating it either.
They loved it and so do I!

This is darned good but I agree with both Tyler and Emeril - a little creme de banana liquer picks up the banana flavor. I also agree with another reviewer that a little sprinkle of cinnamon adds some complexity that's nice.

I made this tonight for my husband and son; oh my gosh, what can I say, another Paula hit!!! Simple, quick, and just down right good. I will definitely make this again and for company next time.

Keep those great recipes coming Paula.

Great recipe, although next time I make it I will use a little less rum.

The numerous times I was at Brennans in N. Orleans I had this dish. However, they add cinnamon and a little banana liquor in addition to the rum. The cinnamon really adds a nice touch and I think Paula's recipe has too much rum. When I have made B. Foster previously, I didn't add the banana liquor and did not miss it. able
