I just got through maing this sandwich because I love peanut butter and banana sandwiches. I always eat them but this was my first time eating it as a hot sandwich. I love it and my husband who doesn't even like the combination loved it too! Thanks Paula!

... for a gal who's ALWAYS had a sweet tooth for 40+ years, I felt that the cinnamon-sugar mixture on top of the grilled sandwich was a bit too much for my palate! I could have done without it, for sure. Otherwise, it was a fun and easy sandwich to make, not to mention pretty darn tasty. On the other hand, I don't think I will be "jones-ing" to make it again any time soon.

I had recently watched Paula's show and seen this recipe and everyone in my house, there mouth was just watering, plus everyone loves regular peanut butter and banana sandwiches. well this was a nice twist so I made it and OH my is this delicious. Need to say we will no longer be making the normal cold one we will be making this recipe very often. the kids love it as much as the adults, even the picky eaters. Now i just may have to grow a banana tree in my back yard . thanks Paula.

overall, this was very tasty and a nice change from a typical lunch sandwich. however, it was a bit too sweet for me which is odd considering i have the biggest sweet tooth of anyone i know! and i couldn't taste the bananas much. next time i'll put less cinnamon in the PB mixture.

My twins call sandwiches Amiches and they liked this but said it was too sweat...

I will try leaving off the sugar at the end.

When I first decided to make this recipe I was weary of using the chunky peanut butter, but I did and the sandwich was as Paula would say, "out of this world." My entire family loved it. It was sweet, buttery and delicious. Thanks Paula for another family favorite.
