These cookies will take you back in time to when your grandmother made oatmeal cookies!!! Be sure to smother them with the Brown Butter Icing!

I love Paula and her show, but these cookies i weren't too fond of...I was expecting them to taste like oatmeal cookies, but they turned out like pumpkin bread with raisins! I love pumpkin bread, but i had eaten a lot of it days before i made this, and it just wasn't that inviting! If you want real home made tasting oatmeal cookies, the recipe on the quaker oatmeal box is amazing!!

My husband LOVES these cookies. I made a double batch so he would have plenty to take to work each morning with his Starbucks. My kitchen smells wonderful, like Autumn from all the wonderful spices I used in the cookies!

I must have really did something wrong. My cookies did not come out chewy at all. Theywere dry and crumbly butI wonder if it is because I used all butter istead of shortening. I will try again and see what happens. If someone knows the answer please let me know.

I love Paula and I haven't made a recipe of hers yet that is not fantastic. I am also from Georgia and her recipes help me bring a taste of home wherever we are stationed. These are fantastic cookies! They are simply delicious! I will be making these to send to my husband while he is deployed!

these are by far the best Oatmeal cookies I have ever eaten. I have taken these to Pot Luck lunches at the office and they are gone from the plate as soon as I place them down
