I happen to be awake @ 12-midnight, another unsleepable night and I started baking. I made a double batch of these incredable oatmeal cookies. They are wonderful ! ! ! My kids are so fussy, all I asked was for them to just try the cookies. They couldn't eat just one, they went back for more. Thank you for the fabulous oatmeal cookies. Donna in South Florida

I must confess that I bought the "break & bake" otameal raisin cookies from the store and made the icing for a party. It was the only thing that was totally gone by the night's end. So many people wanted the recipe!

I also found the cookies turned out too flat when I greased the pan. I just used a little spray and it was fine.

It took longer than 15 minutes to prepare the batter. I was sifting and mixing for a long time!!

But the end result was worth it! My boyfriend could not stop eating them!

This is a wonderful recipe. The frosting is a great touch to make them unique in the world of oatmeal cookies. Yummy!

This was a great recipe. Very easy to make and tasted wonderful. I made them on a greased pan and found that I ended up with very flat cookies. I thought a greased pan for a recipe containing that much butter wasn't a great idea, and sure enough, when I switched to an ungreased pan, I got nice, big, fat cookies that were great under that icing. I think I will make these for the holidays.
