I saw Paula making this cake and thought that it was easy enough for me to make. Well, I tried it for Thanksgiving this year and it was a winner...everyone talked about how moist it was and some said it reminded them of "better than sex cake." I was pleased with the results as well and I highly recommend that you try it.

Had my doubts about this one. It looked pretty easy to make and it was. I definately would look for a 2 inch pan as the regular 9 x 13 was just a little too small. The 2 inch pan would have made a difference for me. I had planned to make salisbury steak for dinner and this cake for dessert. Forget the main course, I am serving the cake for dinner. Had to make myself stop eating it so there would be some to serve later.

This was so easy to make and amazing to eat! My husband said it is now his favorite cake ever. I can't wait to have a reason to make another one! Thanks Paula!

I made this cake for a group of 10 people... they loved it. I used 100 Grand bars because that is what I had on hand. I thought this cake was very simple to make but yet it makes you look like you worked really hard to make it! Thanks Paula!!

This is an absolute hit with chocolate lovers!! It's moist and crunchy. My experience with the recipe was right-on!! I wouldn't change a thing about it. Thank you for another wonderful eating experience!

I just finished watching the "Meat Me in Savannah" episode where she makes the cake. I plan to make this for our 36th wedding anniversary in December, unless I have a reason to make it sooner. Our wedding cake was German Chocolate so I make it every year. This will be a nice change. Sounds easy enough. Paula put 16 dollops of the cream cheese mixture on top of the batter. I think I will cut up 16 pieces of Mounds bars and put a piece under each dollop instead of folding them into the batter.

I recommend that you don't try to fix something that is not broken. This is incredible. It does ooz all over so use a cookie sheet under it. I love the looks of the cake. I did drizzle carmel ice cream topping over it before adding 1/2 th glaze only. This is one of those recipes that you don't want to share because you want to have a few culinary secrets but since I didn't create it, Hats off to the chef.

A good way to get a lot of "volcanos" nicely spread out on your cake is to use a cookie scoop for dropping the cream cheese mixture onto the batter. The more you have, the better. All those craters end up deliciously chewy and capturing pools of the chocolate glaze. It works much better than having just a few larger ones from a spoon.

Not sure what the ravings on this cake are all about. Maybe I am not a big chocolate cake fan. It was good, my guests loved it and some want the recipe.Just not a cake for me.
Not sure if the top was suppose to be flat . It looked like the aftermath of a volcanic eruiption! or a topographical map! Knd of pretty actually.. As for making it again, mmmm , I think I will keep looking for thee right chocolate cake. Enjoy for it will still taste good , I am just going to keep trying other cakes which is what I like to do anyways
