I made this tonight and put into 2 square pans. I'm taking one to work. I think I could put my face in like Paula said. It is so good !! I think on the next one I'm going to put almonds in the bottom since it has Almond Joys in it. Yes it should say 1 8 oz. cream cheese. My glaze was a little thin, but next time I'll not put in all the milk until I get all the powdered sugar in. You can always add more milk if it's too thick. Any more sugar would be too sweet for me. Never thought I would say that !! I have tried more of Paula's recipes that any one else's, so enjoy !!

Awesome cake. I'm so glad I read the reviews first because of the error in the recipe calling for 1 ounce of cream cheese. I knew that didn't sound right, so thank you all for your reviews. It saved the cake!!

I have had this cake at Paula's restaurant (Lady and Sons in Savannah, although I have not made it yet, but will be making it soon! It is OUTRAGEOUSLY DELICIOUS. So moist!!!! I just saw her make this on her show (for the first time. I have wanted that recipe since I went to her restaurant but couldn't remember the name of it. THERE IS A TYPO IN THIS RECIPE FOR SURE. It calls for
only 1 oz. of cream cheese; the actual amount that she used on her show was 8 oz..

Sometimes I am afraid to try a Paula Deen recipe, they are so rich. But I too saw her make this cake yesterday and thought it would be good to try for company today. All you married ladies, if your husband is a chocolate lover, you should try this for Fathers' Day.

I didn't catch the typo, thought 1 oz. of cream chees wasn't enough so I added some, but not the full 8 oz. Only had 3 bite sized 3 Musketeers and 1 little Kit Kat, so i chopped those up but forgot to fold them in, pushed them in just before the cream mixture. Went for the whole shebang and did the glaze, which I will try without the next time.

This cake was an ooeey, gooey, chocolate crater of heaven on earth. It will make you want to slap yourself if there's nobody else around. I'm not sure, but I think it might be addictive. Don't keep any more of it in the house than necessary for 1 serving per person (more for hungry teenage boys, and send the rest of it home with your guests. I will be making this cake again as soon as possible.

Ok so I went to the store and hadn't read all the recipe. I didn't buy any chocolate coconut candies of my choice. But I really wanted to make a cake so I did it with out the candy. And it was still very yummy. Also, I am too lazy to make a glaze.but we all loved it! WE are the type of people who will eat cake without frosting anyway. I know we are weird. This cake is rich enough that you don't miss the glaze and I think I did cut a few calories. Not my goal but hey I can only think my laziness is justified. Again this cake is yummy even if you are lazy like me! I can't wait to make it again for my mom and this time I will add the candies.

How bad is it going to be that I only used 1 ounce of cream cheese and I used regular sugar? Certainly tasted sweet. Help...I'm about to serve it to my best friends in about 15 minutes. Thank you, thank you. (Sheesh, I need to learn these terms.

This cake is so good, it is very ooey gooey. I didn't add the nut, I doubled the amout of candy bars. I also use a 8oz package of cream cheese. ( I think it was a miss print If you love sweets this is for you!
