Love this recipe! Super easy and very versatile! Have made this lots of times-most recently with peaches, plums, (both had been frozen in their juice from the previous years harvest, and frozen raspberries. I left out the water, since I had the peach/plum juice, and added a 1/2 tsp ground ginger. Delicious! So good left over as well.

I have made this probably 5 times since I found the recipe, and out of the 5 times making it I have gotten to eat some maybe twice, my family just loves it and so do I when I get a chance to eat some.

My family loves this recipe. I make it using apple pie filling and it is amazing. Does anyone think it would work if you replace the fruit with the batter used when making New York style cheesecake? I'm going to try this following Lenten as I am giving up dessert for Lent.

Tried this recipe just as directed except used apples and blueberries (peaches not in season and it came out very good! My crust rose but did not look like Paula's. It rose up in-between the cooked apple slices. I did read the reviews and left it in 50 minutes. For my cobbler that was about 7 minutes too much! The sides were crunchy. :-(

Other than this, the cobble was wonderful. Perfect sweetness (I guess b/c I used apples instead of sweet peaches. I did not use all of the syrup the apples and blueberries made. I used only about 1/2 and kept the rest to drizzle over the finished plate -- really a great idea. I will make this again.

I love this recipe. You can make this with different fruits. I only use half of the sugar, because it's too sweet.
