This is a fairly rich dessert, but I love all of these flavors so it works for me. The recipe is very simple, and the result is a crowd pleaser.

The flavor of the cheese cake itself was very tasty, I agree with the reviews that say that this would be good even without the candy. The review that says these are dry either didn't follow the recipe correct or they over baked them, because they were not dry at all. After reading the reviews I made 24 reg. muffin size cakes instead of the 12 like the recipe calls for. I know the reviews say they made 18, but I figured I would try 24 and they were the perfect amount of cheese cake ratio. I read the review about using Hershey Kiss's instead of the peanut butter cups, and I just happened to have Hershey Cordial Kiss's leftover from a recipe I did at Christmas (I was surprised that they were still good, don't expire until Dec. 2010! I liked the Kiss one better. The crust was quite crumbly, so next time I will go with the review that said they used a Nilla Wafer instead.

I only made 1/2 the amount of crust, and it worked out perfectly. For variety, I defrosted 6 frozen strawberries and used those for half of the cheese cakes. They were both excellent!

This recipe was a hit in foods class. I tried the recipe the night before my FoodsII students were scheduled to make it. I started to use my mini muffin pan then realized that a regular muffin pan fit the recipe. The students experimented and decide that when they put a spoon of cream cheese batter on the crust, then a bite size peanut butter cup, then filled it up with cream cheese the result was wonderful. At the school a few favorite staff members received the extra mini cheese cakes, and asked for the recipe! The students comments ranged from "wow', to 'fantastic', to "this is very sweet," to "this would be great with cherry pie filling in the center." The entire class voted this a lab to repeat with every class.

these cheesecake minis looked great on tv , so i thought i would make them.. pretty easy to make, but really they had no flavour and when u bite into them they are very dry. The PB cups didnt melt as i thought they would.. these were only okay and probably wouldnt make them again.

I'm thinking of making these for someones birthday and they LOVE peanut butter, bananas and chocolate. How do you think these would taste with bananas on top or mashed into the cheesecake?

This is my go to party cheesecake recipe. It does make a lot -- I use the mini muffin tins and I get 48 - but there are never any leftovers. I substitute mini nilla wafers for the homemade crust (they fit perfectly at the bottom of the tin and are great in no time at all! I also usually skip the candy center depending on the crowd. I've done these plain with fruit topping on top, mini oreos for the "crust" with some more crushed on top...you can't go wrong. They come out perfect every time! (A water bath does help keep them from sinking in the middle -- but I usually opt to put something on top to hide any imperfections instead.

This recipe is a recipe I always fall back on. Not only is the recipe and easy, but it's definitely a crowd pleaser. Plus it tastes delicious! I have also stuck other candy bars in the middle for fun. It is just all around a great recipe.
