By far the easiest cookies I have ever made and they are fantastic!! Those who gave this recipe a bad review did not make the cookies, they did not taste them, and they have missed out. So good my family went through two batches in one afternoon!!

Not sure what all the bad ratings are about! I'm inclined to think that the people writing such negative reviews have not actually made and eaten these cookies. I just made these with my 4 and 2 yr olds in a matter of minutes and was astounded when they tasted so wonderful! We didn't add in the choclate at the end because the extra sugar is obviously not necessary, but even without that goodness the little peanut buttery balls are heavenly. ENJOY!!

We used both a stone and a regular sheet with wax paper - stone yeilds softer, chewier cookies and the regular sheet yeilds a crunchier bottom (as usual.

The proteins from the peanut butter and egg bind together with the sugar to create a shortbread texture.

Those who are stating this is the best cookie recipe ever are silly. This is another foodnetwork.com incomplete recipe.
    Where's the dry ingredients?
When people mindlessly give recipes a good review, the admins never catch the incomplete recipes.

I have made these cookies over and over again. Everytime they come out moist and yummy. I cook them only for 9 to 10 mins. And everything you need to make them are already in your pantry, more than likely. So why not make them any 'ole day of the week?

i decided to try a different cookie from my oh so unique chocolate chip cookie. I was skeptical at first but who doubts Paula? =] i freaked when i put them in the oven because my oven was getting a little smoky but i figured nothing was on fire and its only ten minutes, so i stuck it out. They came out great! I'm no where near a great baker and these came out tasty and were so easy to make. DO IT!

I mixed by hand and used a natural peanut butter. The extra oil in the natural peanut butter kept these very moist. After rolling entire batch in small balls, approx. 1 inch in dia., cover with plastic wrap so the dough does not dry out. between baking batches. I only baked 9 at a time, on parchment paper, for perfect results in 10 minutes.

Just by looking at the recipe, I could tell you this is going to be bad...But, my husband had to try it anyway. The recipe, though super easy, turns out way too sweet. There is no dept of flavor in these cookies. All I taste is the ton of sugar that goes into them. A traditional peanut butter cookie recipe calls for brown sugar, flour, butter, etc. and perhaps some vanilla to add a complexity to the cookie. It is no wonder these cookies taste like nothing but sugar!

I make these all the time, adults don't like them very much because they think they are too sweet, but they are always a hit with kids. I always make them when I am babysitting because they are quick and kids love fresh baked cookies. But, it always takes MUCH longer than 10 mins, usually 20-25. I will still have little balls of dough after 10 mins.
