WHOAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!! BEFORE YOU PREPARE THIS GLAZE, READ THIS REVIEW!!!!!!

I tweeked this recipe just a tad, and the changes I made launched it into the stratosphere!!!!!! Changes are in CAPS

1/2 cup chicken STOCK (instead of broth
1/2 cup creamy peanut butter (generous
    1/4 cup honey (generous
1 heaping tablespoon GARLIC/GINGER PASTE (instead of the garlic
    2 teaspoons soy sauce
    1 teaspoon RED PEPPER FLAKES
    1/2 teaspoon FRESHLY GRADED NUTMEG
    1/4 teaspoon CINNAMON

Put all ingredients into a food processor or blender. Blend well. Brush glaze generously on ham the last 1/2 hour of cooking time. Baste again 15 minutes before removing from the oven. Let stand 10 minutes before serving.

    YUUUUUUMMMMMMOOOOOO!!!!!!!

Should be 1/4 cup peanut butter in the recipe per Paula. This is delicious!

Turned out really well for me. Recipe was super simple which was why I used it in the first place. However, I used a cooked ham so had to make some minor adjustments. I basted half of the glaze on the ham even before sticking the ham in the oven since I wanted the flavor to really seep into the ham and I kept basting every hour till the ham was cooked. My ham was about 12 lbs and I followed the heating instructions for it.

Served this for dinner for in laws and they (including my hubby loved it! Thanks Paula!

Loved the recipe! It was something different. I will use it again, but on a smaller ham or a ham steak. My son (6 said he loved it in small ammounts but over and over again as leftovers- not so much.

This ham recipe is AMAZING! My husband and I made it last night and we stuffed ourselves silly! The ham was the most tender, juicy ham I've ever had. The glaze is super simple - not sure why previous posters have said it was difficult; it is a bit runny so we glazed the ham twice (after the first 10 minutes was up we glazed it a second time and baked it for the remaining 10 minutes. Give it a try - you won't be sorry! Thanks Paula!

I made this one time at my mother-in-law's EVERYONE told me it was great, but I thought they were just being nice. Well last week I came home with a ham from the store and my husband's eyes LITE UP and he said "are you making that peanut butter ham again?! He's already invited his friends over to try it.

After reading all the reviews I decided to make this recipe. We are a savory family, often we won't even glaze our ham except with a mustard based sauce, so I was looking for a 'not too sweet' different ham glaze and came across this recipe. I altered it based on the reviews. I added one more big garlic clove and more soy sauce, cut down the peanut butter and the honey. It is still too thin, so if you can thicken it without changing the flavor I would give it 5 stars. Good combination of flavors when altered slightly.

i was excited about trying out this peanut butter glazed ham recipe but i was very disappointed. the ham itself was okay but the glaze just dripped off so there was a pool of peanut butter on the bottom of the roasting pan. the glaze itself wasn't especially tasty because it was too peanut buttery, i couldn't taste the other ingredients that went into it. luckily, there was only a little bit of skin with each piece of ham so no one really noticed that there wasn't any glazing on it.

I am not really a ham person, but my parents both wanted ham. Once I saw this recipe, I thought it sounded kind of good. Good was not the word - it was the most fantastic ham I have ever had. Sooooooooooo much better than the ones with pineapple & cherries all over it - how many times can you really have it that way. My whole family just loved this recipe & I highly recommend you trying it!
