Paula doesn't serve up bad recipes, but I surely did with this one. Nothing looked, worked or tasted right, and the meal was no picnic--in any sense of the word. It was scramble for a pizza night and get rid of the pork as quickly as possible. Maybe we'll try this again, if we see the episode in which Paula cooks it.

The peanut butter flavor did not mesh very well with the smoked ham and gave it a slightly offensive taste and smell. My family is used to sweet ham and this didnt satisfy them.

It wasn't very moist.....i think because of the peanut butter, it dried on the ham during the last few minutes of cooking. It just tasted like plain peanut butter was put on the top.

Never have I had a glaze that so thoroughly saturated my ham, unfortunately no one liked the taste. It was to peanuty and not at all sweet. I guess I fall into the catagory of liking a sweet ham. We were all disappointed and I ended up throwing much of it away. I will stick to the sweet glazes from now on. Sorry Paula, I am normally a huge fan.

Paula, I'm your biggest fan, but this is the only recipe that I've made of your that just didn't cut it. If I didn't need it for supper, I would have thrown it out. I like sweeter stuff, I guess. A can of crushed pineapple mixed with brown sugar, honey, and orange juice combo is my cup of tea. We love, love, love the cheese biscuits, Uncle Bubba's beer biscuits and trying your recipes. Can't wait to come back down to the restaurant. What fun you are. Thanks
