My granddaughters and sister saw Paula make this and we decided to do it. We had apples instead of pears. It came out great! The girls loved it. It was easy and very tasty.

I made these with apples instead of pears and they were delicious. I sprinkled them with powder sugar, slathered em with butter and drizzled apple cider syrup on top and ate them for breakfast. FANTASTIC!! The batter had plenty of flavor as is, no need to change anything to the recipe. Very easy to make, follow the recipe exactly and you can't go wrong.

This was delish! I added two Tbsp of brown sugar to the batter. I also garnished it with two scoops of Cream Brulee Ice Cream and powdered sugar and brown sugar mixed together! We loved it!
