    We loved these burgers! They are moist, flavorful, and delicious topped with Swiss cheese. I love Paula!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    not my favorite. didn't really taste the pecans and i would have thought the butter would moisten the burger but it didn't. and the bacon on the outside was good, but watch it on the grill..it goes crazy

    These were pretty easy to put together, but my patties kept falling apart and the bacon wouldn't stay on. I also broiled them and they needed an extra 10 minutes to finish cooking. But the flavor was good and they were super moist!

    I have been putting pecans in my meatloaf for 25 years. I never once thought to put them in my hamburger patties. I mixed the whole lot with the meat; topped with the bacon....wow!
    Now I am adding all kinds of things witht he pecans to the burgers! the possibilities are endless!
    Fantastic idea
    For those who did not like this recipe the only thing that I can see that would make it bad if the nuts had gone rancid on you. Check your experation dates and store them in your freezer

    This recipe was fairly easy for my 12 year old son to help make. We have burger often because we grow our own beef. So, I am always looking for a new way to fix burger. This is a nice change from and the family really enjoys eating it.

    On our camping trips I always do something special. No run of the mill food from me! This year I did the Pecan burgers and the black and blue burgers. They both went over very well. Thanks, Paula, for the great recipes!

    My entire family LOVED this burger. I added some seasonings to the hamburger meat, but everyone loved the crunchy surprise in the middle!!
