So glad I found these! Love Paula she has taught me SO much! love her. thank you.
These bars are so amazingly delicious and so easy to prepare. 5 ingredients for the crust and whipped cream. It doesn't get any simpler than that. This is one of those recipes you can make last minute if you know you're getting company or forgot to make something for a potluck or cookout. I was lazy and just used my stand mixer to mix together the ingredients. I, obviously, didn't get a crumbly consistency for the crust, but I just went with it and it turned out great anyway. The toffee bits in the whipped cream gives it that little bit of extra crunch and sweetness. So good. As another reviewer suggested, I'm going to try some different variations of this. The crust itself is so good that you could top it with anything. Thanks, Paula!!
love that crust and you can use it and let your creativity run wild. Way to go again, Paula!
This dessert was ok, nothing spectacular. And I found the base a little doughy/raw in the center. Won't be making it again, especially as it's not very good for you!
Easy and delicious. They were a huge hit at the party. I will definitely be making these again!
This was so easy and delicious. I added quemada, a caramel topping to the whipped cream. and chocolate chips. So yummy.

These were so delicious. I followed the recipe exactly and found them very easy to prepare. The topping makes the dessert!! I made them for a Christmas party and never got so many compliments. Needless to say they disappeared quickly. My husband didn't wnat to share them with the guests!! Thanks Paula, You are the best!!
very easy..hardest part was waiting for it to cool so i can make the whip cream and put it on top.
I made these for the first time on Thanksgiving this year, and my entire family raved about them!!!!! I can't wait to make some for Christmas presents!!!!
Ours came out a tad chewy and it was hard to cut them into the cute squares like Paula had, but they were good.
These Pecan Dreams turned out very good. The only thing I would change is to take them out of the pan and break them into shapes, then frost. I think they would look prettier. The recipe was absolutely delilcious and very simple. Big hit at our holiday party.
Everyone at my office loves to cook so when we have a potluck we are all trying to outdo each other. I brought this dessert to a Halloween party and it was a big hit! Several people who tried a piece without staying for the lunch came back to find out who make this dessert! It was simple and easy to make. Great for fall with the combination of the pecans and toffee bits. The light frosting complimented the heavier cake very well. This is one of the best dessert recipes I have ever tried and I will definitely be serving it again!
I just made the Pecan Dreams and they are delicious! The recipe was so easy. Highly recommended!
My daughter used this for a 4-H Cookery Contest for Pecans and won at the parish/county level and then took 3rd place at the district level. It is so easy to prepare and a wonderfully different dish.
My husband and I hosted an open house not long ago - and these bars were the hit of the party!! Everyone wanted the recipe!
