These bars are so amazingly delicious and so easy to prepare. 5 ingredients for the crust and whipped cream. It doesn't get any simpler than that. This is one of those recipes you can make last minute if you know you're getting company or forgot to make something for a potluck or cookout. I was lazy and just used my stand mixer to mix together the ingredients. I, obviously, didn't get a crumbly consistency for the crust, but I just went with it and it turned out great anyway. The toffee bits in the whipped cream gives it that little bit of extra crunch and sweetness. So good. As another reviewer suggested, I'm going to try some different variations of this. The crust itself is so good that you could top it with anything. Thanks, Paula!!

This dessert was ok, nothing spectacular. And I found the base a little doughy/raw in the center. Won't be making it again, especially as it's not very good for you!

These were so delicious. I followed the recipe exactly and found them very easy to prepare. The topping makes the dessert!! I made them for a Christmas party and never got so many compliments. Needless to say they disappeared quickly. My husband didn't wnat to share them with the guests!! Thanks Paula, You are the best!!

Ours came out a tad chewy and it was hard to cut them into the cute squares like Paula had, but they were good.
