A friend made this also and she put the Werther's Coffee flavored hard candy in instead of candy canes and used Vanilla extract instead of peppermint. Thought it was interesting and decided to share!

I loved makeing this, it was so much fun. I did how ever make a little change. Because its christmas and all i also melted red and green molding chocolate and swirled through out. Also most of my family doesnt like candy canes so i made a second batch with chopped almonds. They turned out great and looked really cool and festive as well.

I love this recipe, i did add 4 teaspoons of peppermint extract but it is optional, did learn do not put the crushed candy canes in with the white chocolate in the microwave!! The chocolate starts to burn and it doesnt melt easliy so , microwave the white chocolate first then add the crushed candy canes afterwards! I recommend this recipe it is very delicious! thanks paula

Wow so good, I made this over the weekend. I made a little change I put a layer of dark chocolate on the bottom let it chill for 30 mins then a layer of white chocolate broken up candy canes and peppermint extract back in the fridge to chill. This is sooo amazing I used to buy a lot of this during the holidays now I make my own.

It's as easy as she says it is. Make it for my co-works and they loved it. Will continue to use this recipe every Christmas. this is now one of my favorite things to make.

I adored this recipe! It was simple to make, and very fun. It is a wonderful treat on a cold night with hot chocolate. I definitely recommend this recipe.
