Very good candy...real pepperminty! Easy to make too...just as easy as Paula made it look on TV! I fixed this at Christmas for a family get-together and everyone had to have some. Thank you!

I made this recipe for Christmas and it was still being requested by friends for New Years. It was the cookie/candy hit of the season!

I love Peppermint Bark, it was running close to Christmas gift giving time, and I thought I'd try something faster and more interesting than the traditional holiday baking for my gift giving...
I love dark chocolate, so I added an additional layer of dark chocolate to this recipe. I just melted 2 pounds of dark chocolate chips, spread it first, then followed the rest of Paula's recipe. This came out so wonderfully... Everyone in my family loved it, and I packaged it creatively and gave it away to friends and more family members. 1 batch easily made enough for 4 or 5 gift tins...I'll continue to make this every year, except maybe I'll add food coloring for different holidays (pink food coloring to the white chocolate for Valentines day!

My local grocery store sells white chocolate specifically for candy making in the bulk foods section. It costs $1.79 a pound. A box of candy canes cost 77 cents. Who knew you could make 2 pounds of delicious Christmas candy for about 4 bucks? I think I will try using chocolate and peanuts or toffee chips next. This is soooo easy and people think you purchased it.

This is the best. My children and I even made it with the different flavored candy canes. ( cherry, butterscotch etc.
They loved it. My children are 10, 9 and 4 and they all helped to make it.
We also made your chocolate covered coconut balls and they loved making that also. Thank you for having recipies that children can help with.
