This was very easy to make and tastes delicious. I only used the crushed candy canes which was the perfect amount of peppermint for my taste.

I love peppermint bark to begin with so I am a little bias, but this recipe is short and simple to make! However I usually add a layer of dark or milk chocolate as well as white chocolate. This recipe is great! Thanks Paula!

Sadly disappointed in this recipe. Waaay to much peppermint for my taste (perhaps the stuff I used was too high quality? Also, the treat did not keep well out of the fridge. We brought this in a festive holiday tin to a party and by the time we got there the chocolate and candy can were melting. Won't make again:(

This was very tasty and I am not big on mint flavorings, but I think that I will put in the mint flavor next time. I was afraid with the candy canes it would be too much. With that said. I had a heck of a time making this. I tried to do it in the microwave and stir every 30 seconds. It looked like it was cooking so I took it out and threw it in the double boiler. It was just so thick and hard to stir. I'm not sure if I cooked it too much or too little. I spread what I could on the pan and left the rest on the stove. When I came back to wash things. The chocolate that was left in the double boiler was thinning so I stirred it and used the rest of it. This consistency looked like the videos. I am giving 4 stars as I think the recipe needs some time frames and to warn of cooking the chocolate too fast. Thanks to the other comments on here I will to cook it slower next time.

It is always a pleasure to find such a tasty, easy candy! I used peppermint flavored white chocolate and added a little extra peppermint oil. The candy is beautiful and tastes wonderful. Thanks Paula, another hit in my kitchen!

This is a great recipe! My baby sister used to use crushed rootbeer barrel candy in place of the peppermints; when crushed, the rootbeer candy is the prettiest bright red!
