Absolutely delicious! Definitely suggest using the peppermint extract to add some additional flavor. The bark just melts in your mouth. I think this is going to be a recipe I will make every year. Thanks, Paula!

I halved the recipe and added a very small amount of McCormick pure peppermint extract. Used Ghirardelli white chocolate premium baking bars and regular candy canes (Bob's. Delicious!

I'm giving this recipe 5*'s based on the changes I made. All white chocolate would have been too sweet for me, so here are my changes: 1lb. semi sweet chocolate and I added 1/8tsp of peppermint abstract to that after it was melted....let it cool in the fridge for an hour. Then I topped it w/1lb. of white chocolate (all ghiradelli! Added the cup of crushed candy canes to the white choc. after it melted. Absolutely incredible! Breaks right apart on the parchment paper. A new holiday staple.

This is such a crowd-pleaser, you wouldn't think it was as easy as melting chocolate. I switched it up a bit- I used one pound of dark chocolate for the first layer and one pound of white chocolate for the second. I added one teaspoon of peppermint extract (which I thought was plenty to the white chocolate along with the candy crunches. So yummy!

Very easy to make. I used Nestle white chocolate chips (two 12 oz bags and about 10 candy canes that I crushed. Spread it out on the parchment paper and will be ready to go in just about 45 minutes.
