This is a must have if you love grilling.. Must be done on charcoal grill.. Taste is perfect. Even a 12 yer old boy loved it. What a great way to enjoy the summer.

So easy and so good/ Just make sure you wrap the bacon around the sides of the filet. The first time I made it I wrapped it around the top and bottom and it burned before the filets were done.

After making wonderful gourmet style Filet Mignon, this was a real treat! He went back for seconds. This was the first time I attempted to wrap bacon on anything and I probably needed either longer bacon or three pieces around one.
Oh, I guess I was supposed to wrap it PRIOR to cooking because it kept falling off even with the toothpicks, so I joked about it and placed them on top at serving. It tasted so good, he laughed about it with me. THANK YOU. We're bothsmiling when I bring "this is MAMA or maybe Grandma Paula Deen's recipe's" to the table! Your the best!
