    I make this recipe for many family gatherings, but I have a little secret... this recipe is especially wonderful on Passover! Serve it with matzah and you will be the hit of the holiday! And one especially helpful feature... you can freeze it. This buys me more time closer to the occasion for other preparation.(Note on prep... it usually takes me twice as long to prepare... but sooooo worth it!

    Paula Dean is amazing. This is so good, so tasty, often requested by my friends. After sharing it at gatherings for years, I have heard, "I have to have that recopy," and even, "I think it is an aphrodisiac."

    I had this at a friends holiday BBQ over the summer and it was AMAZING!! I asked for the recipe so that I could make it for a party. It was definitely different from any type of appetizer I have had before and it tastes absolutely delicious...it was gone in no time at the party and the presentation was gorgeous!! I can't wait to make this for my sister-in-laws cocktail party bridal shower!!! I would suggest this for anyone looking to bring a dish to a party for the presentation but most importantly the taste...it is a hit!!

    easy to make and was a hit at my dinner party. I used store bought pesto to save time and it was really good. I also did not use the nuts [both] i am allergic. Other than that, it was really great =]
