I served this appetizer for my book club. It got rave reviews. Three people asked for the recipe. The only concern I had was that the oil leaked out of the pesto and the sun dried tomatoes and collected around the outside of the cheese blossom. I dabbed it off with a clean paper towel but it did discolor the cheese to a light orange color.

Why wait for Christmas! This appetizer is outstanding anytime of the year. I substituted the sun-dried tomatoes with mild sweet Piquante Peppers which gave it a sweet taste with a kick for us Texans. Everyone wanted the recipe!
