    Thank you Paula,
We had a tea party for Minister and Pastor Wives this passed Thursday. The cheese blossoms was a hit and everyone left wanting the recipe.
    Thanks for the idea.

What a fabulous dish...I've made two within a week, and both had my neighbors begging for the recipe. I would DEFINATELY take the time to make the homemade pesto, the flavor of fresh is just great. Paula, YOU ROCK!!

I used just a jar pesto, which was even easier for this recipe and I just chilled it over night, did not freeze it.

Made this for my bunco group and they absolutely loved it! The hardest part about making the recipe was finding the right size bowl for all the ingredients. After trying our several, I found one that was perfect. The only thing I did differently was to reserve four slices of provolone for the top rather than three. This is a keeper!!!

This recipe was a big hit at the birthday party I brought it to. I served it with toast points and it was gone in no time! One reccommendation though - use a smaller bowl than you think. I ended up running out of the cream cheese mixture because of the size bowl that I used.

For those of us "Paula" fans, we know she always comes through. This was great and 6 of us completely finished it within a couple of hours. I did drain the (bottled pesto and the sun-dried tomatoes after reading the other reviewers' comments. Also, we put 3 large basil leaves in the bowl first so that it would make a nice presentation. I used a fluted biscuit cutter to make the small Provolone slice for the top and that slice went in right after the basil leaves.
