    Excellent! My yankee friends (and southern relatives love this recipe. Shrimp has an excellent bite.

    This recipe really has a bite! I added about 3/4 cup of sugar to the brine and created "Sweet and Sour" pickled shrimp. We liked it much better.

    The day I saw this recipe on the show I went straight to the seafood market and tried this. After the second week I tried my pickle shrimp!!!!! boy I must say they are GREAT!!!!!!!! This is one appetizer I will have on hand at all times.
