I made this for breakfast this morning. It was pretty quick and easy - usually I wait until the weekends to make stuff like this but it worked out fine even on a workday. And it tasted pretty good too. Honestly, I feel like it could be better if the recipe were tweaked or added to somehow...feels like something's missing. Next time I'll probably make a cinnamon maple glaze with some walnuts or something instead of just syrup.

Thought this would be great for a chilly October supper. My hubby says this would be good any day that ends in "y". Very tasty. I'm gonna make this next summer at the lake for 25 people. It's easy and very good.

I made this for a brunch item at the retreat house I work at.. However, I made it with leftover, brown and serve sausages.. I sliced them into coin size pieces.. the apples, I sliced and tossed with a little bit of cinnamon and brown sugar.. then cooked them down slightly in the microwave.. I also added a bit of sugar and vanilla extract to the cornbread mix.. It was a big hit and a good way to deal with leftovers. I will definitely make this again

I made this today, but tweaked it a bit by adding sugar adn cheese to the corn bread. This will be duplicated again and again. Thanks for the recipe.

As with a lot of her recipes, I found it necessary to tweek it a bit. Trust me, cook the apples first, or at least most of the way, secondly, use ground sausage, not links, makes a much better presentation and just seems to cook better and last of all oven at 450 is way to hot..turn it wayyyyyy down. Taste is good if this is your thing.

This piggy pudding was really good, but a bit too sweet for my family - which is surprising, because we LOVE sweet! However, you just can't beat the quick preparation and uniqueness of the dish. I tried the leftovers the next morning without the maple syrup and liked it a lot better without the syrup. Overall, a definite "must-try" recipe!

This is so yummy. I can't believe there are people who don't think that apples, sausage, cornbread and maple syrup don't go together. Do not use ground sausage. Use the llinks as Paula does. Out of laziness, I sometimes use Brown N' Serve sausages cooked in the microwave. They even have maple flavored sausages.

This was delicious, and so easy to make. However, my corn bread started to get too dark after only 15 minutes. I looked on the box of the mix, which said 400 degrees, so I think depending on which brand you use, you should follow the temp for that, and not merely put it on 450. Overall, great dish though. Kids all loved it as well.

Great recipe, super easy and great for a Sunday night meal! Serve with fruit and you are good to go! The whole family enjoyed this...7 and 8 year-old included! Woo hoo! Thanks Paula!
