My family loved this recipe however, I think it might have been better using fresh GROUND breakfast sausage instead of links...the biggest thing I have to recommend is to make sure you use apples that are sweet/tart and crisp but not woody...my husband thinks the ONLY apples that were made for cooking are Granny Smiths and I found them somewhat tasteless and woody in this recipe...This recipe will replace standard "Strada" at my brunch gatherings from now on...it was Wonderful!

My husband and I savored every bite and morsel of this breakfast dish. We stated that if we owned a B&B, the dish would be a signature piece for the place.

It takes more prep time than noted; however, the time spent is well worth it. I also used the pancake recipe from the cornbread batter.

This was very good, I made it with beef sausage not pork and I loved it. The mixure of the cornbread, sausage & apples was good. Only thing is I would cook the apples frist so they will be a little softer and put some butter on them. This was good for little first time cookers.

This dish was perfect for an early autumn dinner and would be as good for other seasons or other meals. My family loved the flavor as well as the delicious aroma as it baked.

My kids loved this for dinner. It was a nice chang from the usual meat and potatoes. They especially liked the name. Would also be a great brunch item.

Very simple and very good. I have made it for friends and family about 5 times and I have gotten all very positive compliments. So thank you Paula.

I serve this when I have company. Everyone raves about it and there usually aren't any left overs. The grandkids love it when they come in after playing in the snow.

Have made this twice. The second time I forgot the apples. It was still delicious. Will be making it again soon.
