I changed a few ingredients and it came out out of this world pina colada!! instead of pineapple chunks, I added 1/4 cup of Dole pineapple juice..instead of coconut milk, I added 1/4 cup of evaporated milk and I added the rum last to taste (I ended up using less than 1/4 cup of rum. then you garnish with pineapple and cherries. WONDERFUL!!!!

I read all the reviews before I tried this, so I tried it with confidence. However, I found it to be a bit strong and not very sweet. I added some sugar and it was much better. It's a good base for a pina colada, but next time, I would use less rum (and add sugar.

I just came back from Las Vegas and the pina coladas there were not nearly as strong as in this recipe. My stomach started to burn after a few sips.

These were very good... just for personal taste, I added a little more coconut cream, coconut milk, & pineapple... Also, I made fruit skewers & rolled them in the left over milk & cream, and then coated them with coconut, delicious!
