You can create up to five timers

Ingredients

  • 1 cup fresh pineapple chunks
  • 1 cup unsweetened coconut milk
  • 1 banana
  • 1/4 cup ice cubes
  • 2 teaspoons honey, optional
  • Pineapple wedges, for garnish

Directions

In a blender, combine the pineapple chunks, coconut milk, banana, ice, and, if desired, honey. Puree until smooth. Pour into 2 large glasses. Garnish each serving with a pineapple wedge.

    My grandsons (11 and 12 and I liked this recipe very much. My pineapple was frozen and it was very sweet. The bananas were also very ripe. We will be using this recipe this summer and many summers afterwards. I think I will hide some ground flax seed in the recipe next time for an extra nutritional boost.

    i added toasted coconut flakes and it was divine! i also used frozen pineapple and a very ripe banana...making it just the right amount of sweet!

    caution, this is very filling....would make a great breakfast on the go :

    This is good as is however I had to doctor it a bit. I added 1/4 cup pineapple juice, 1 tablespoon of coconut flakes, and a splash of cherry juice. Muy bueno!
