This is insanely sweet, but oh so good! I didn't have almond flavoring, so I used vanilla. Mine didn't look quite as pretty as the picture, though. :

this was soo easy and quick to make! After seeing the recipe air i thought wow..I have all those ingredients! Im gonna try that! Less then 10 mnutes later DONE! Everyone at work loved it!

I have to say I'm not a fan of almond extract like another reviewer so I will leave that out next time and substitute vanilla. I used two Hershey bars for the chocolate and it was great. However, I ended up having to cut mine after they cooled as they wouldn't break apart. What's the trick with that?

This was a nice idea, but I thought it was too sweet. If I make again I might decrease the amount of sugar.

this is soooo easy - and sooo good.
don't forget to spray the foil or it will stick to the caramel. i stirred a bit of peanut butter into butter and brownsugar before i poured it onto crackers - made it even better. paula wins another round!!

This is Paula Deen at her finest - lots of butter, sugar, and chocolate. These things are like chips - you can't eat jsut one. Awesome!

Just great. If you use baking chips, you might want to melt most of them if a double boiler frist, then add the rest.
