    I wasn't so sure about a pineapple casserole but I made it for my family anyway. The all loved it! Now the request it especially when we are having ham or pork loin.

    I was disappointed in this recipe because the grated cheese I used didn't melt (it was not a low fat cheese but it was packaaged grated and the texture of the cheese in the casserole was like coconut. I didn't get rave reviews when I served it but got comments like "it's interesting" (not what I wanted to hear. I was so looking forward to this dish but I don't think I'll try it again even though my husband thought it was good.

    This casserole would have been 5 stars, except my cheese didn't melt AT ALL!! I am not sure what I did wrong, but this dish is fantastic and almost dessert-like with the sugar and pineapples :

    I highly recommend!

    great addition to a holiday meal for that sweet taste to a savory meal. I love that sweet to any meal! I did cut the sugar in half...sorry Paula it just sounded too sweet. Love Ya girlfriend!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    I made this as many did to go with ham, I found my casserole to have a very curdled like texture and seemed to be too gloppy and greasy. The basic idea was good, the flavor was ok, but the appearance and texture was unappatizing. I guess I was expecting something more light and less greasy

    I was thrown off by the combination of cheese and pineapple but my sister insisted on making it. THIS STUFF IS GOOD!!! Now, it's prepared everytime we have ham. I've even had it hot out of the oven ala mode! Delicious!
