This is the most amazing casserole I have ever fixed! It is perfect in every way. By the way, I even substituted sugar with Splenda the second time and it was equally wonderful. Just doesn't get much better than this!

My mother-in-law made this for Easter and once I had a taste I didn't want to eat anything else. It is plain in color so serve in colorful dish.

I substituted crushed pineapple for chunk. I poured the pineapple in a strainer and pushed the juice out with the back of a spoon. I preferred the consistency of the crushed pineapple to the chunk.

This dish is the best!!! Great as a side dish with anything. Also spoon some over vanilla ice cream while the casserole is still warm. You will love it.

I've died and gome to heaven. Great as a side dish with something spicy or even as wonderful as a dessert. The sweet fruit and the sharpness of the cheese with the crunchy top is just the best.
