    I served this with a stuffed chicken recipe from Emeril and it was a hit. It was simple and finally something different to do with potatoes.

    This dish was so good! My family - even pickey 13 yr. old daughter - loved it. I will definitely make it again. The only things I changed were that I used all mashed potatoes - next time I'll try it with sliced except I think I'll put the sliced potatoes on the bottom. And I left out the peppers.

    I made this dish for father's day. We had about 14 people over and everyone loved it. This is wonderful with a BBQ dinner!

    Have tried many recipes for scalloped potatoes and they were all so dry....this dish is fabulous!! It has so much flavor and is not dry at all. The bacon adds great texture and flavor to it.

    The sour cream makes this recipe too heavy. Also, the sour cream looks curdled after it cooks, not appetizing. If I make this again I will omit the sour cream.

    I THINK THIS CASSAROLE IS THE BEST BECAUSE IT IS BEAUTIFUL AND SMOOTH AND DELICOUS.
