I tried this soup last week and my family loved it. We all went back for seconds and thirds! We will definately make this again!

I made this soup for Thanksgiving and it was all gone! The family loved it, it was easy to make and I have already made another pot of soup for this weekend. This recipe is a keeper.

I modified the size of this recipe for the two of us. It was wonderful. Charlie loves potato soup, and the added shrimp make it a full evening meal for us.

Unbelievable how good this was...I used red potatoes with the peel on and ham instead of shrimp. Topped it with cheddar, bacon bits and chopped green onions. It was ALMOST to pretty to eat...but we managed. Thanks!

    Dear Paula,

This is the best potato soup I have ever eaten. We altered it a bit by leaving out the shrimp and added celery and parlsey while leaving out the carrots. We garnished with bacon and cheese.

Thank you for this recipe. Whenever I make potato soup in the future, I promise you it will be this recipe!

    Sincerely,

    Cheryl France
