    Recipe was very good, did not care for the shrimp, but added fresh thyme, and peppered the bacon before putting in the oven. Thought about adding some diced celery the next time. Had to use emersion blender to get the correct thickness.

    This soup is so good my family loved it. The shrimp wasn't even needed next time I'm going to make it without the shrimp and maybe add corn.

    I made the soup completely without the shrimp. It is a good soup, hearty and creamy. I did add an extra boullion cube, and extra salt and pepper for a little more flavor, but that is just my preference. I'd recommend that others try it.

    Love this recipe! It's been added to my collection! I made this with the fat free milk and it was quite delicious. In addition to the shrimp, I still added some corn to the soup per my husband's request. It was a hit and I'll definitely make it again.

    Just one question - can I freeze this soup? I wondered if I could with the milk and shrimp (I used the precooked frozen shrimp.

    This was so GOOD and easy to make. I made a double batch and froze some. It was good after freezing as well. My family loved this.

    Love to cook and I was not feeling well and thought soup sounded good and boy was it (easy too! I used what I had (large shrimp, cream (more fat LOL : and it was awesome and filling!!
