These are terrific! Even my picky 5-year-old loves them. They taste like my favorite pumpkin muffins, which is how I am going to make this recipe next time instead of bars. Thanks for a wonderful recipe Paula!

These were so easy to throw together to get such a moist cake-like bar. Thanks for the recipe!

Sorry, but I was very disappointed. I love pumpkin but this had a bland weak flavor. It tasted like a bad version of cheap carrot cake.

Made this for t-giving instead of 'usual' pumpkin pie. XCELLENT. Paula, u really 'outdone' yourself this time. Cake was 'super moist'. Added jus a 'tad' of pumpkin pie spice and sprinkled a 'tad' of nutmeg after icing the cake. I did not cut them into bars, but left it whole so as each person can cut their own size portion. VERY VERY EASY to make. I KNOW i'll be making this at most any time of the yr; not only for t-giving. THANKS PAULA.

These bars graced our dessert table yesterday, and what a hit! The vote was split on the frosting, and I will probably stick with an old stand-by next time, but the CAKE!!!! YUM! This was a unanimous hit with the whole family, from two years old to 85! Thanks, Paula, you are my hero...you inspire me to cook and try new recipes, with wonderful success!

I just made this, and it turned out really well. However, it took longer to bake than 30 minutes. I baked it for an additional 10 minutes, and it came out perfect. Maybe it was just my oven??

My usual Thanksgiving dessert is a family recipe which, while wonderful, takes 2 days to make. I wasn't quite feeling up to that this year, and am not good with pies. So I decided to try these instead. They are so quick and simple to make, and the frosting is perfect! Not too sweet, very filling, and sure to be a new family favorite! My friend, who lives in Canada, said he wants a "metric dozen" of them. LOL Thanks for the fabulous recipe, Paula!
