I'm a total novice cook, so I'm not sure if I did it right. Did anyone else get a lot of left over filling? How far up do you fill the pie pan? So far it smells great and the batter is delicious! I'm going to make another one to give to friends but want to make sure I did it right the first time. Thanks!!

I used a majority of this recipe to make a non bake version of this. Its so good. Two packages of cream cheese is good enough.

Oh my gosh...followed the recipe exactly, but somehow my springform pan " sprung". I had a smoking mess in my oven for 45 minutes. The butter just dripped from the pan and made a mess on the bottom of my oven and continued to smoke until the cheesecake was done. I hope all that smoke didn't ruin it. My husband claims 1 stick of butter is too much!

Taste good. But cracks when you bake it. Most of the comments indicate that. I would suggest find another recipe this one is flawed.

For the people who haven't made this yet, and are reading the reviews, there aren't graham cracker crumbs on the sides!! If you cook it as the directions say, the edges will just brown a bit, that's all it is in the picture. But oh my gosh I am in LOVE with this dish. I made it last year with my family and we all fell in love, we literally made two or three more and gave them to friends! It's so good. Definitely a must-try. You can never go wrong with a dessert recipe from Paula Deen =

Yummy! Put the gram crackers up the sides and it still cracked really bad. But it was really good so who cares. I made a maple glaze- someone had a link further down in the comments - and it was really the finishing touch this needed.

Froggies---don't worry about the cracks, I think most all that are baked long enough crack. I use a sour cream and sugar topping to cover. 1/2 cp sugar, cup and half of sour cream, blend and cover top after it has set and cook for another ten minutes. Great finish and with some graham crumbs on top, looks really pro! . Good luck

I absolutely hate pumpkin pie. I tried this when ever it first came out and it is a favorite in my house. I no longer make pumpkin pie unless my husband asks. thank you for another great dish!
