THIS RECIPE IS GREAT. MY FAMILY LOVED THE CHEESECAKE AND WAS SUPRISED I MADE IT! I ALSO ADDED A LITTLE EXTRA TOUCH THAT WORK OUT FANTASTIC. SPREAD 1 CONTAINER OF COOL WHIP OVER THE TOP, DRIZZLE HERSHEY'S CARMEL SYRUP OVER THE TOP LIGHTLY FORK IT UP A LITTLE, CRUMBLE UP SOME GRAHAM CRACKERS OVER THE TOP, AND SPRINKLE A LITTLE GROUND CINNAMON TO TOP IT OFF. SIMPLY DELISH!!!!!!!!!

Paula,
You've done it again. I watched this one on T.V. and had to write it down. You knocked another one out of the park, girl!!! My husband is usually not one for cheesecake because it can be so overly sweet. HE LOVED THIS ONE!!! So did everyone else! My daughter specifically asked me to make it again at Christmas. I loved the crust too! I've never seen one where you add brown sugar... YUM!!!! Thanks yet again!!!!!!

Another shopper and I kept running into each other in the same aisles and finally started talking and realized we were making this same recipe for the first time so we helped each other find ingredients! Wish I had gotten her number to see how hers came out! This was absolutely fantastic and so easy to make! My 4 year old grandson helped me make it! It will be a new tradition in our house! I have never made a cheesecake so was a little scared and figured it would come out bad but I was wrong! It was a work of art! Soooo delicious! My husband and I are entertainers in our area so last night I promoted this recipe from the bandstand and encouraged everyone to try it! Makes you want to sing! Thanks Paula!

I am no cook or baker by any stretch of the imagination but I told my mom I would make a dessert this year for Thanksgiving. I looked all over for the perfect receipe and came across this one. It seemed easy and all the reviews were so great I just had to try it.
Well let's just say that no one in my family believed that I could possibly make such a delicious receipe. Were it not for the fact that my sister acutally saw me make it I don't think they would have believed it! LOL
This was so easy to make and mine actually came out with no cracks, and I didn't even do a water bath. I simply let it sit in the oven for about another 40 minutes in the oven after baking as suggested here and it came out perfect! This was absolutely delicous and my godmother who is the most amazing baker was truly impressed....the best compliment I could have ever received...Thanks Paula!!!

I almost used a different recipe this Thanksgiving to make my son his favorite dessert. He absolutely loves cheesecake and I found a recipe that I thought he would like. The only problem was, I didn't have all of the ingredients. I found this recipe, knew my kids loved Paula Dean and thought I would give it a try. This is the best cheesecake I have ever tasted! Most of the time cooks will enjoy foods made by others. I couldn't help to rave over my own creation in the kitchen. This was the best cheesecake I have ever eaten and I made it myself! You have to give it a try. I can't wait to make it for my family for Christmas!

I'm a person that loves to cook and create in the kitchen and I wanted to make something I had never made before on Thanksgiving and I made this cheesecake and it was a HIT! I love this recipe and I know I will make it again sooner than the holidays.

This was the first cheesecake I've ever made. And I made it to take along to a friends house for Thanksgiving. It wasn't a big gathering - just three couples including us. IT WAS A BIG HIT!!!! I just emailed the recipe to both couples. Thank you Paula Jean...you made me a star.

First cheesecake I ever made , it was very easy, I baked it in a water bath and it did not crack. It was smooth, creamy, not too sweet, and not heavy at all. Flavor was very good. I did not change a thing, There was no leftovers. I shuoild have made two :

This was my first time ever baking a cheesecake. It was super easy and super delicious! Even my cat is begging for it :o The texture is smooth and the taste is well balanced that it doesn't feel like heavy cheesecake. It cracked a bit but it wasn't too bad. Next time I'll try the water bath. I modified the recipe by increasing the amount of spices and adding little bit of ginger powder and decreasing the amount of sugar. It was too sweat for our standard. Also the crust asks for one stick of butter. I found it too much. Less would work just fine. Overall, my family loved it! We will do it again for sure!
