    Having made many cheesecakes, bake and no bake, all different flavors, I would have to rate this as one of my favorites. I changed the crust to a pastry crust and added a little more nutmeg. I have made this for two different groups and gotten rave reviews. Paula hit a hole in one with this one!

    Paula Dean's Pumpkin Cheesecake was a total hit at Thanksgiving! Pretty simple to make as well. Rich and creamy! Thanks for the great recipe!!

    Absolutely fabulous. One of the easiest cheesecakes I've ever made and EVERYONE raved about it - even said I should go into business selling them!!!

    I love Pumpkin Pie and when Paula said "If you try this recipe, you will never eat another Pumpkin Pie!" So, I made this Pumpkin Cheesecake and I never thought I'd say this but I will eat this cheesecake over any Pumpkin Pie. It was wonderful and a real hit at my Thanksgiving Dessert table. I didn't even have any left over for the next day and I made four other pies!!!! It was light and delicious and I recommend this recipe - it will be a favorite for family and friends. Thanks Paula!

    Like many other reviewers, I have never made cheesecake before and decided to give this recipe a whirl on Thanksgiving. I am a proficient baker but was a little nervous trying a cheesecake recipe. This recipe was so very easy and and so very delish! Just follow the (corrected directions step by step and you are pretty much guaranteed perfection. I did not do a water bath and there were 2 cracks on top, but I didn't care. Actually, I thought it added to the "homemadeness" of the recipe. Definitely a keeper- thanks so much Paula !

    I love Paula, but sometimes her desserts are too rich for my blood. But this cheesecake is perfect, I did not change a thing and it was delicious! It did have a big crack down the center, but I just put whipped cream on top and no one knew about it.

    I made this for Thanksgiving...being a Paula Deen recipe, it of course, came out perfect! The only thing different I did, was to cook it in a water bath as I didn't want to take the chance of having any cracks. This was a delicious cheesecake and I will definitely keep the recipe around.
