I love Paula Deen and her recipes, but this may very well be the worst pie I have ever eaten. Way, way too sweet. Was so excited to make & eat this, but I threw the rest away because it was so terrible.

This is the easiest pie I have ever made! I made it for Thanksgiving and everyone loved it. I dont usually measure but the ingredients proved to produce a very flavorful pie with lots of pumpkin taste. The spices were just right. I will make this pie again!

delicious!!! fast and simple, but had only a very slight pumpkin flavor. added additional pumpkin pie spice and cinnamon, and per everyone's recommendation, used mini marshmallows instead of jumbo marshmallows. definitely a keeper!

Made a trial run of this pie for upcoming Thanksgiving: De-lish! The only thing I would change is to use a regular pie shell instead of deep dish, or double your recipe like everyone said, and use mini marshmellows instead of jumbo ones so they melt faster. (I have no patience! lol

It also occured to me that the puree/marshmellow mixture with the pumkin pie spice would make an excellent version of a thanksgiving rice crispie treat. So I think I'll make some for the kids for their holiday dessert!

Awesome recipe- very light and airy! I don't like my desserts super sweet so I switched out the prepared whipped topping for homemade whipping cream (slightly sweetened and it was fantastic!.
