So easy - do it the day before. I didn't use ready-made whipped topping; I chose to make whipped cream with a touch of sugar (so it wasn't too sweet. It was loved by all and will be a staple on our holiday table from now on.

When I saw Paula make this one morning, I knew right then that was a recipe I was going to make for Thanksgiving. It's EASY and cheap to make....the presentation is lovely and it was a success at the table! I am only 21 and it was my first Thanksgiving recipe I've ever made.

A real hit!. A nice change from pumpkin pie. I topped the fresh whipped cream (which I used instead of cool whip with toasted chopped pecans and a light carmel sauce. A dessert to die for and so easy.

This was a big hit at Thanksgiving dinner! A lot lighter than traditional pumkin pie, perfect after a huge meal. I used fresh whipping cream instead of cool whip, and it was wonderful. This one's a keeper!

This was great! I modified slightly by sprinkling (lightly! Sherry over the gingerbread before putting the next layer.

After watching the show and reading the previous reviews, I was so excited to make this for our Thanksgiving dinner. Unfortunately, I thought it was a bust. It was just mediocre. Admittedly, it was very pretty to look at, but the gingerbread I made (BCrocker was not so hot and the pumpkin mixture was just okay. Layer them and what do you have? Nothing spectacular. I even added additional flavorings as suggested by previous reviewers. Won't make this again. Bummer for Thanksgiving.

Paula, girl! Your trifle bowl must be gigantic to hold 2 packages of prepared gingerbread!
I don't particularly care for the taste of pumpkin, but really enjoyed this recipe due to the combination of flavors all the ingredients brought to the dish!
Absolutely love your show...have learned so much from you! Don't ever retire, suga'...we'll miss you terribly!

I made this for Thanksgiving and was very impressed with the taste! Spicy and sweet. I made mine with one cake layer, a half can pumpkin pie mix and 2 (4 servingsboxes of sugarfree vanilla (cook styleand fat free topping. My husband and I loved this delicious and easy recipe and you would never think it was low in fat. I even skipped the gingersnap cookies. Thanks, Paula :

We recently had an office Thanksgiving Party and this trifle was served. It was such a hit with both the men and women, that we asked the maker to prepare it again for the following week. We also asked for the recipe and noted that it was this one.

    Yummy, yummy, yummy!
