OMG!!! This was absolutely fabulous and I used all lite products and sugar free cake mix. You have to eat this warm out of the oven with whipped cream or heated for a late night snack. I made this for Christmas dessert and everyone wanted the recipe. I just made it again last night...so good for the fall & winter seasons!

We just thought this was okay. Her chocolate ooey gooey is much better. This was very sweet. Our hound dog loved getting what we didn't eat lol. Thanks Paula.

This was a huge hit at my work pot luck. I sustituted honey pecan cream cheese for the plain! So rich and delish!! I baked mine for 55 mins.

I made a version of the pumpkin for Christmas and it was met with rave reviews. I used a ginger bread cake mix and replaced sweet potato for pumpkin. Amazing. I cant wait to try the chocolate.
    Yum yum

I use to do it with TWO CANS OF PUMPKING instead of one, so I can use all the confectioners sugar and it does not taste so sweet at the end. For a more "cake-like" consistency, add another egg to the filling (four instead of three... you"ll see... and love it !!! Serve it with a drizzle of chocolate in the plate, whipped cream at the top and then insert a piece of waffle at the side or top. This is my signature dessert .... enjoy !!!!

I saw a segment Paula did on some morning show where she made this, and I just had to look up the recipe to try it. I sure was not disappointed! This cake is YUM. This is my sister's favorite dessert, and I have to make it every year for Thanksgiving now that we all found out how tasty it is. I would definitely recommend adding the confectioner's sugar 1/2 cup to 1 cup at a time, and taste the batter before you add more so that it's the right amount of sweetness for you. I'd also make sure the cream cheese is room temperature and that you cream it well before adding the wet ingredients. Some people have recommended using spice cake mix instead of yellow cake mix and I would encourage you to try it with each, you never know which you'll like more. I prefer the yellow cake mix. I usually bake it a bit longer than the recipe says to, since my mom doesn't like it to be too gooey. Now, I just need to try the peanut butter & chocolate one..
