This was so easy to make, and such a nice twist on the traditional holiday pie bit.
It went fast! I'm planning on making it a few times this holiday season!

I made this for our Thanksgiving last November 2003, and then three more times for Christmas parties. My printer was printing as fast as it could to keep up with the demand for this recipe. Everytime I make it for a gathering or party, I know I have to make copies of this recipe up in advance. People are jealous that I found this not so secret of a recipe before they did. I tell them they need to watch foodnetwork and also Paulas home cooking shows for awesome recipes. But, I guess I have more of the interest. Thanks Paula for the wonderful recipe, I have had so many compliments I sometime wished it were my own invention. But I am too modest not to tell everyone where I got it from. I loved the deep fried turkey last year also. It was our first one ever, but not our last. Sincerely, and Thank you, from the Black Household.

As I sit here there are no less than ten people waiting for this recipe. It's ALWAYS a winner. Made two of these last night and dropped one at an another office on the way to work this morning and the other one is here. This one is almost gone (30 minutes and I've already had two phone calls from the other office requesting the recipe as well. THANK YOU MISS PAULA!!!

I made these for a Halloween potluck and was concerned that because of all the candy floating around, no one would want a dessert item. I couldn't have been more wrong. And I loved not having to bring home leftovers that I'd end up eating!! These are just yummy -- a great twist on traditional pumpkin pie -- and very, very easy to make.

Wonderful. I used the spice cake mix, cut the sugar to 1/2 box, sprinkled toasted pecans over the cake batter before I put the filling on -- and the results are spectacular. It's been a hit with everyone I've shared it with!

I made this dessert last year and my family went absolutely wild. I had to log back on to get the recipe again for this year.
