    This dessert is better than the traditional pumpkin pie. I have taken it to several get togethers and haven't left one yet in which someone didn't ask me for the recipe. It is very easy and delicious.

    I have only made the pineapple and peanut butter variations and they are BOTH very good. Try chocolate whipped cream with the peanut butter!! YUM

    I first made this cake for Thanksgiving two years ago. Now, my in-law's and parents ask me to make it for the holidays everytime...a must have in your recipe box!

    Easy and good tasting. My family does not like traditional pumpkin pie, but love these Gooey Butter Cakes. It's become the pumpkin pie substitute at our gatherings and there's never any leftover either.

    Can't wait to try the chocolate variety!
