I have made this recipe on several occasions. Having Paula's cookbooks, I refer back to them frequently, especially whenever I am entertaining. I first tried this recipe on Thanksgiving, and as you may know...you definately want to take something you know that everyone will love. Well this will be something I will take to most family gatherings as well as holidays. I have tried the Pumpkin variety as well as the chocolate and peanut butter one. The great thing about it is that it is very easy to make. I highly recommend this recipe, and if you are looking for great home cooking cookbooks Paula Deene is your girl.

I could cuold eat this cake every day. It's so so easy, and everyone always wants more than one piece so I make two.

This was very good, but very sweet! (hint, serve in small pieces! It is a very nice change from just pumpkin pie. I'll try other variations suggested in recipe!

This is the easiest and best desert I have ever made. No matter who I cooked family, friends coworkers, everyone loses their minds over this cake. I use canned sweet potates in mine and it is to die for over and over again. I always have to make two cakes during the holidays because its gone in seconds!!
If you have not tried this recipe you are missing out!!!!
Thanks Paula you really are the best cook on Food Network!!!

I have used almost all the variations of the recipe and love them all. The pumpkin takes the place of standard pie at our holiday festivities. It is the first dessert on the table to go...sometimes before the turkey is sliced. Love Paula, she's a real southern cook.

I'm not a big pumpkin fan, but this was delicious! A huge hit at Thanksgiving. The peanut butter version is to die for! It's perfect for office parties or family get-togethers. It's super easy and super delicious. Paula's never let me down!

I made this for the family Thanksgiving dinner and everyone preferred it over traditional pumpkin pies and said so!! My daughter even wanted it made as her birthday cake.

This is one of the richest best tasting cakes I have ever tasted! The recipe is very flexible as you can do many, many variations of this one cake. I have used the pumpkin version the past two Thanksgivings and Christmas suppers.
