Amazing. I completely messed up the recipe to the point where it shouldn't even be said I followed the recipe I used so many substitutions, and yet it STILL turned out fantastic. Simply amazing. I cannot imagine how wonderful it must be if you follow the whole thing.

This is amazing, I seem to be making a couple of these every other weekend. The chocolate peanut butter variation is absolutely to die for, just make sure you leave out the nutmeg and cinnamon. I'm going to make the pineapple variation today for my mother in law who loves pineapple upside down cake. For those with gluten allergies, I use the Better Crocker gluten free cake mixes and it still turns out great. I never even tell people it's gluten free and they have no idea.

This recipe was a hit with the grandkids as well as adults that do not eat pumpkin in any shape or form.

This has become a family favorite!! Everybody calls me before the holidays to make sure I'm bringing "that pumpkin stuff" that I make...LOL. It's SO rich - small slices are just fine. It's definitely a heavy dessert, which is fine because then I end up with left-overs! Quite tasty. I would never have thought of something like this - because it's very creative. I'm so happy I came across this recipe. It's actually REPLACED our pumpkin pie at Thanksgiving. Don't forget to buy some whipping cream to put on top :

Another excellent recipe! I also made Red Velvet by using a box of Red Velvet cake mix, and adding 1 Tbsp of powder coco, and 2 Tbsp more powder sugar, top the bars with 3/4 cup chocolate chips I used Ghirardelli Chocolate chips. Bake as listed!

Over this Thanksgiving season, I have made four (4 Pumpkin Gooey Butter Cakes. Everyone absolutly LOVES it and I have had to share the recipe with about 20 folks who made it for Thanksgiving. Thanks, Paula, for an easy, delicious and absolutely wonderful recipe!
