This was the best pumpkin pie I ever tasted! The cream cheese made it so rich and creamy! also the spices were perfect, not over powering. (I added nutmeg like another reviewer suggested. I also had to cook for about 90 minutes... the crust did not burn, for all my nail biting. I served it with Bryers French Vanilla ice cream instead of the cool whip. The cold with the creamy with the spices, WOW! Pumpkin pie will work for Christmas too, right!? lol I can't wait another year for this pie!

This was delicious and so easy to make...but I purchased a frozen pie crust. I also roasted a fresh pumpkin (chop in half, scoop out seeds, oil lightly and roast cut side down on a sheet pan for 35 min at 350, then scoop out and mash flesh instead of using canned and it substituted perfectly, but the cooking time was a little longer.

Everyone loved this pie for Thanksgiving at my mom's house. I went back the next day for a piece and it was gone!

This was the first time I had ever made a pumpkin pie and I must say that it won't be the last. My husband loved this pie so much! The recipe was easy to follow and the ingredients were simple--the cream cheese really adds to the flavor. You must try this recipe-it is a winner.

I mixed the ingredients and the pie was much more liquidy than I expected and made enough for a pie and a half. It also took FOREVER to cook. I'm sure this was just cooks error, but not sure what I did wrong. Despite all of that it came out nicely. It was creamier than the traditional pie but lacked something. Maybe more cinnamon?

This pie was a great departure from the normal pumpkin pie. The apple butter gives this pie a nice "zing". It is sweeter than a regular pumpkin pie, but also has a bit of tartness; a nice combination! I used sugar free apple butter, next time I will try the regular stuff to see if it comes out differently. So, if you want a nice departure from the norm I would give this pie a try! We made a regular pumpkin pie too and both were gone in the same day!

All you pumpkin pie haters (like me, try this pie! It's fantastic! There was some extra filling (too much for a 9 inch pie, so we cooked the remainder in a souflee dish and ate it warm. YUM! I highly recommend this pie!
