Better than all other recipes with half the work! I've been playing around and have had wonderful results using a good brand of pure dark chocolate unsweetened cocoa - a lot less effort.

I just didn't care for the flavor of this, and it the prep was kind of long.

I didn't have the chipotles but I did have adobo sauce so I used that and added a can of green chilies. I also didn't drain the diced tomatoes with green chilies and only used 1 oz of dark dark chocolate. Also used chicken thighs and took skin and fat off before browning. It was divine and we could eat the sauce by the bucket:

This recipe was easier than I thought to make and the sauce was so savory, rich and delicious. The chicken was moist and flavorful. I was so proud of it!

I cooked the chicken at the same time as the sauce and this was a piece of cake! My in-laws thought it came from their favorite Mexican restaurant! A little spicy so just be careful, I may not put both peppers in next time... Great recipe!!!

I have had this dish in Mexico a few times and really enjoyed it, I never thought to make it at home though. After watching Paula make it I thought it seemed so quick and easy... It did take a bit longer than I had planned for, allow yourself a good hour and a half from start to finish. I did not bother with browing the chicken, I just laid chicken breasts in the dish and poured the finished mole sauce over them. I baked it for about an hour, so I am not sure what difference it would have made to brown them first. I also did not use pumpkin seeds to garnish. I did, however, make yellow rice and black beans instead of white rice. Great presentation: Mound of yellow rice in center of plate, chicken breast on top, black beans around outer edge of rice and pour mole sauce over top of the chicken. Fantastic!!! Next time I may use some lime wedges for garnish...

I don't eat chicken so I haven't tried this recipe, however I noticed a flaw in the preparation.

Pepita's are shelled pumpkin seeds. On the show, Paula put whole seeds including the shell.

Just needed to clarify as this bothered me when I saw it. Don't pay any attention to my rating.
