They were very fluffy. I had to make over 100 of these cupcakes for my class. I loved them and so did all of my classmates and teachers.

This cupcake recipe is wonderful!!! A lot of red velvet recipes make very dense cupcakes, but these are very light and fluffy. I would personally cut the frosting recipe in half as it makes way too much, even if you are like my family and LOVE frosting. A really yummy recipe!

I am pretty sure I put the right amount of oil called for but they seem like awfully oily cupcakes to me! Taste ok if you can get paste the oil left on your hands when you eat them!

I agree that these are a little oily but very good. I used 2 tsp of dark chocolate cocoa powder and turned out great.

Pretty good, perhaps a little too oily! and the frosting was a bit too runny, bit it tasted delicious!

I tried this and they were great but I will definitely try it using some tips that other reviewers mention. Everyone loved them and the frosting does come out more than you need but great to use if making a cake or anything else.
