I baked these for my daughters bi.rthday, and they were a bit tastless, and bitter. However the frosting was GREAT! I put the frosting on them and noone could notice that the cupcake itself was not that good

I took these cupcakes to a baby shower and everyone loved them...they ate 2 and three a piece! I did add a little more cocoa than it says to and cut the cooking time by a few minutes...and the amount of icing that it makes is enough for two batches, so if you're only making one, you can cut the icing recipe in half...but it is delicious!!

The first time you taste these, you won't believe they came out of your own oven. These excellent cupcakes will become an instant hit with everyone who eat one. I double dog dare you to eat just one.

I used malt vinegar, and half and half instead. I also added almond extract instead of vanilla extract and it made it taste like cherry cupcakes! My dad who doesn't even like chocolate ate four of these.

After reading some reviews of the recipe I decide to make some adjustments, I doubled the cocoa powder and added a little extra vanilla. My whole family loved the cupcakes. The frosting is a little runny though but absolutely delicious.

This recipe isnt as moist as I thought it was going to be, but they were still really good and moist. THe best part of the recipe is the frosting. Its the best cream cheese based frosting that I have ever had!! I am going to try a new cupcake but keep the frosting!

The cupcakes were really oily. The cupcake liners were filled with grease. When I took the cupcakes out of the pan, there was oil in the bottom. Yuck. The cream cheese frosting was really good though. I would use that on something else.
