Amazing! This was the first turkey I'd ever made. It was so tender, it fell off the bone, no carving necessary. I did inject melted butter and garlic to add more flavor throughout. Everyone went on and on about it, and my sister-in-law who doesn't like turkey even loved it. I will definitely be making this again and passing along the recipe.

This is our family's go to recipe for Thanksgiving and Christmas. The turkey is great with cornbread dressing. Easy to make.

I made this for Thanskgiving. I was very nervous as this was my first time preparing a turkey. Everyone loved it, it was the best turkey I ever had.

I made this for Christmas and the smell and taste was great but my only complaint was the flavors didn't get into the meat of the bird. This was my first Christmas married and we had everyone over. Everyone loved it but I wanted to taste the flavor through out the turkey.
ok so i made this again this year but i injected the glaze into the bird after i cooked it and I also got a meat thermometer and cook a 20lb bird til it was at 170 and it was perfect!!!! It was so tender we couldn't cut it it just fell apart.

My family doesn't like having alcohol in the house for any reason so I substituted the bourbon with chicken stock instead. Still turned out delicious. The glaze was a bit too sweet though.
